As a family, we decide a few years ago to share this pristine” Pot of Gold” with our fellow nature lovers. The best choice ever!
The majestic mountains, natural beauty, freedom, quietness, river pools, and many walking paths are all challenges on their own.
Both places are situated high up in the majestic Riviersonderend Mountains between Greyton and McGregor and are linked to the Boesmanskloof Hiking Trail.
First thing in the morning you will observe that you are surrounded by mountains and more mountains! The silence of nature will take you to another level of peace!
What a blessing! There is no car passage to disturb your rest. Therefore the area is called the “Ride to Nowhere”. Both places are accessible by car.

Hiking Trails (follow the many footpaths you are surrounded by from the accommodation places and enjoy!)
Stargazing at night (with eyes wide open and heads turning to the sky at night you can enjoy scenic views!)
4x4 Route (a 2 km route to the Waterkloof is a journey with many surprises!)

Loud music is only allowed if you rented the whole of Onverwacht.
After 10 pm a quieter atmosphere is expected as fellow guests then want to be surrounded by the tranquillity of nature.
You are fully responsible for any breakage or damage is done during your stay.
